Do I need to assemble this scooter? No. The Silverado Extreme ships fully assembled with batteries installed. Charge it and ride.
Are the batteries included? Yes. Two 100Ah AGM batteries come installed in the scooter. The 8A off-board charger is also included.
Can I use this scooter indoors? You can, but it's a large scooter — 61" long with an 82.7" turning radius. It works best outdoors or in spacious indoor areas. If you need something primarily for indoor use, call us and we'll help you find the right fit.
How fast does it go? Top speed is 9.5 mph. For context, average walking speed is about 3 mph. This is a serious machine.
Can it handle hills? Yes. It's rated for a 10° gradient, which covers most residential hills and inclines.
How far can it go on one charge? Up to 55 miles under optimal conditions. Real-world range depends on rider weight, terrain, speed, and temperature, but even in demanding conditions you can expect strong all-day range.

Will my insurance pay for this scooter?
It depends on your plan, but many of our customers get Medicare or insurance to cover most or all of the cost. Just give us a call at 1-804-315-3950 and we'll check it for you in a few minutes — completely free. You don't have to figure it out alone.
How far can I go on one charge?
On a full charge you can ride up to 25 to 30 miles. That's more than enough for grocery shopping, a park visit, or getting around your neighborhood all day. Just plug it in overnight and it's ready to go in the morning.
I'm a bigger person. Will this hold my weight?
Absolutely. This scooter is built to hold up to 450 pounds comfortably. The frame is heavy duty and feels very solid. Many of our customers specifically chose this model because other scooters weren't strong enough for them.
Is it hard to learn how to drive it?
Not at all. The controls are very simple — just a thumb lever to go forward and a button to reverse. Most people feel fully comfortable within 10 to 15 minutes. Our delivery team will also show you everything when they set it up at your home.
How does delivery work? Do I have to put it together?
You don't have to do anything. We deliver it straight to your front door, bring it inside, put it together, and make sure everything is working perfectly. We call this our White Glove Setup and it comes completely free with every order.
Can I use this outside on bumpy roads or grass?
