Vision Super Heavy-Duty Power Wheelchair with Power Seat Lift — 400 lb Capacity Sale price$5,135.00
Description

Heavy-duty mid-wheel drive power wheelchair with 10" powered seat lift. Built for riders up to 400 lbs. Batteries included.

The Vision Super with Power Seat Lift is a heavy-duty mid-wheel drive power wheelchair with a 10-inch powered seat elevator that raises the rider from a seated position to near-standing height. Built for riders up to 400 lbs, it combines the indoor maneuverability of a 21-inch turning radius with the power and frame strength of a heavy-duty chair.

The seat lift raises 10 inches, bringing the rider from 22" to over 32" seat height — high enough to reach kitchen counters, tables, and shelves without assistance. Mid-wheel drive delivers the tightest possible turning radius for navigating hallways, kitchens, and doorways.

22NF AGM batteries and 5A off-board charger included. Ships ready to use.

Why the Seat Lift Matters

Most power wheelchairs lock you at one height. The Vision Super's powered seat lift changes that.

At 22 inches, you sit at standard wheelchair height — stable, secure, easy to transfer in and out. Press the lift control and the seat rises 10 inches to over 32 inches — high enough to sit at a kitchen table, reach a bathroom mirror, pull something from a cabinet, or look someone in the eye during a conversation.

For many families, the seat lift is the difference between dependence and daily dignity. It means your parent can make a cup of coffee, eat at the table with the family, or reach their own belongings without asking for help.

Who this is For?

This chair is built for you if:

  • You weigh between 250 and 400 lbs and need a heavy-duty frame
  • You want a power seat lift to reach counters, tables, and shelves independently
  • You primarily use the chair indoors or in a home environment
  • You need a tight turning radius for hallways and smaller rooms
  • You want batteries included — no extra parts to source or buy

This may not be the right fit if:

  • You weigh over 400 lbs (see our Atlantis at 600 lb capacity — no seat lift)
  • You need a chair primarily for outdoor or rough terrain use (this is built for indoor/smooth surfaces)
  • You need a folding or portable chair for travel (see our Feather Power Chair at 33 lbs or Travel-Ease HD)
  • You don't need a seat lift and want to save (see our Vision Super without lift)
  • You need extended range over 20 miles (see our Silverado Extreme scooter at 55 miles)

FAQ

Does this chair come with batteries? Yes. Two 55Ah 22NF AGM batteries ship installed in the chair. The 5A off-board charger is also included.

How high does the seat lift go? The seat lift raises 10 inches, from approximately 22" at its lowest to over 32" at its highest. That's high enough to sit at a standard kitchen counter (36") with your legs underneath.

What's the difference between captain seat and pan seat? The captain seat has built-in armrests and a contoured shape — it's what most people choose. The pan seat is a flat base that accepts custom cushions and positioning systems, typically used when a therapist has specified particular seating. If you're unsure, go with the captain seat. Call us and we can walk you through it.

Can I use this chair outdoors? You can use it on flat, smooth outdoor surfaces like sidewalks and driveways. It's not an all-terrain chair — the 6" front casters and 2.2" ground clearance are designed for indoor and smooth surface use. For rough terrain or outdoor primary use, see our Silverado Extreme.

How tight can it turn? 21-inch turning radius — one of the tightest available. It can do a full 360° turn in a standard hallway.

How far does it go on one charge? Up to 20 miles on a full charge under optimal conditions. Real-world range depends on rider weight, terrain, lift usage, and speed.

How much does it weigh? 273 lbs total with the lift. The heaviest single piece is 151 lbs. This is a full-size heavy-duty chair — not designed to be lifted or transported frequently.

What colors are available? Red or blue. Confirm your color preference when you place your order.

What if I need a wider seat? This chair is available in 20" or 22" seat widths. If you need 24" or wider, call us — the Vision Super without lift is available up to 24".

What if it needs service or repair? As an authorized Merits dealer, we can help coordinate warranty service and replacement parts. Contact us and we'll handle it.
